I’ve got quite a few sites with Hostgators and I find them useful for hosting what I call my “resource blogs.” If you are familiar with Cpanel and Web Host Manager hosting then Hostgator will not hold too many surprises. The ftp directory and folder structure and cpanel are all pretty standard (apart from minor customisation) so it was exactly what I was looking for, which was something familiar and easy to use.
