Is the Asus Vw242h Gaming Monitor Up to Par?

Aspect ratio control buttons are greyed out unless the computer monitor detects a lesser resolution than its entertainment friendly Full High definition (1,920 x 1,080), doubtless a blessing to people who will be confused from this kind of thing. When the resolution is leaner but widescreen, the Asus will either display it 1:1 or aim to scale it without aspect distortion, while a non-widescreen resolution can lead to being offered the selection between Full (resulting in a horrible stretched image) or 4:3. Most importantly, so how exactly does the VW242H's image quality manage? Bear in mind with TN-based displays, there are advantages and disadvantages. Within the plus side, horizontal viewing angles aren't the worst and backlight bleed is virtually nonexistent. After wiggling with saturation settings, colours are relatively vibrant without being oversaturated.

Asus Vw246H Review

Whereas 24 inch displays were once the preserve of well heeled enthusiasts, cheap 24 inch, 16:9 aspect TN based panels have developed them lower priced and offered to regular consumers. Asus' VW246h monitor can be another addition to this category, so let's see how it holds up.
