The Meteor Man – Townsend plays a timid, nerdy school teacher with a terror of heights who gets hit by an odd bright green meteor that turns him into a superhero. Excellent “Superman in the Hood” storyline, filled of good values, but very few actually funny minutes. Cast includes Robert Townsend, Marla Gibbs, Eddie Griffin, Robert Guillaume, James Earl Jones, Roy Fegan, and Bill Cosby. (100 minutes, 1993)
